“Tree Gems,” a work celebrating the Earth by Barbara Lubliner and Thea Lanzisero, is on view from Earth Day, April 22, through Mother’s Day, May 10, at the corner of Fifth Ave. and 11th St. at the First Presbyterian Church. The work uses recycled plastic bottles illuminated from within at night by solar-powered LED lighting. The entire construction will be recycled, reused or placed back into the environment.
