Re “Leading HIV Treatment Activist Dies at 44” (obit, Jan. 9):

This is by far the best obit on Spencer yet (“Spencer Cox’s Legacy as a Treatment Activist and a Gay Man With AIDS,” by Paul Schindler, Jan. 2-15) and as a friend of Spencer’s, it’s much appreciated.
