In October, Public School 41 started its year-round indoor and outdoor antique and craft market at Greenwich Ave. and Charles St. Proceeds benefit the children of P.S. 41. The flea market is being run with Greenflea, Inc., which operates P.S. 87’s highly successful weekend flea market on W. 77th St. The P.S. 41 flea market operates Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Its indoor section is always open, though the outdoor part may be closed in bad weather. There used to be a flea market at the school but it closed in the early ’90s after the manager died. Top photo, Andrew Clark sold jewelry last weekend, as a nearby shopper, below, browsed by Buddha heads and hands. The P.S. 41 craft market also features clothes, antiques and more.
