FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) has just opened a disaster recovery center in Southbridge Towers, Store Number 10, at 66 Frankfort St.
Staff can help victims of Superstorm Sandy with Small Business Administration (S.B.A.) loans, hazard mitigation and other information.
The hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except for New Year’s Eve, when the disaster recovery center will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. The center will be closed on New Year’s Day.
Jan. 28, 2013 is the deadline in New York State to register for federal disaster assistance.
