Trump arrives back home at his Manhattan tower

On Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, President Donald Trump’s motorcade pulled up to Trump Tower while avoiding protesters who chanted “Shame, shame, shame.” Thousands lined blocks of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue to await his arrival, along with a group of supporters numbering in the dozens. The protesters carried signs bearing such messages as “impeach” and “stop the hate, stop the lies.” Supporters’ signs said “God bless President Trump.” (Credit: Yeong-Ung Yang)
