Tuning up for the playoffs

Downtown Little League’s tournament team of 11 and 12 year olds played an exhibition game Monday in Battery Park City with the Lower East Side’s Our Lady of Sorrows as a tune-up to the playoffs leading to the Little League World Series. Downtown shortstop Nick Morton makes a tag at third, above, teammate Justin Valenzuela connects, below left, and Downtowner Lucas Ortega makes the play at first.
