At the House of Yes, in Brooklyn, the Electric Acid Theatre presents a cutting-edge show that both lives up to the group’s name and has plenty of cutting edges. The troupe features Serana Rose, The Enigma, Penguin Boy, Baron von Geiger, Jellyboy and Matters Squiddling. Serana Rose and The Enigma are known for their daredevil acts, such as cutting an apple with a chainsaw while both blindfolded, opposite page, lower left. The Enigma prefers to light his cigarettes using a grinder, below. Although Penguin Boy’s arms aren’t very long, his ears are pretty strong — at least strong enough to hold his drum — as demonstrated by the double ear lift he performed with Baron von Geiger on the opposite page, top. As for von Geiger, he holds the Guinness World Record for man with the strongest ears.
Squiddling faced a tricky moment as another troupe member prepared to stand on his head, above. Serana also does some electrifying stunts with a Tesla coil in the show.
