Local residents and leaders were well represented among the hundreds of thousands of marchers attending last weekend’s rally for reproductive rights in Washington, D.C. Above, Florent Morellet, owner of Florent restaurant in the Meat Market and co-chairperson of Save Gansevoort Market, front row, second from right, came down with a local group in buses. Also at the rally were Congressmembers Jerrold Nadler and Carolyn Maloney, at right, top and bottom, respectively. Assemblymember Deborah Glick and State Senator Tom Duane were also there. Nadler was the marshal of the Planned Parenthood trains from New York City.
