Hello again, readers. I would like to announce that New York County Politics will be taking tomorrow off, in observance of the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur.
Yom Kippur, as I mentioned in my Rosh Hashanah post, is the day in which we atone for our sins of the past year and begin the new one with a clean slate. To preserve the sanctity of the day, Jews are prohibited from working or carrying out any business.
Once again, I take this opportunity to ask for forgiveness for any holes in my reporting during the previous year. I promise that my reporting and editing will be more diligent going forward.
The site will resume its regular schedule on Thursday, Oct. 10.
