A model unit of nARCHITECTS’ Carmel Place is decorated with Resource Furniture, on Jan. 5, 2015. The fully furnished unit enables the living area to convert to a bedroom with a pull on a sofa bed, a coffee table, and a dining table. Carmel Place, which is currently in construction, is the first building to have micro-unit apartments in New York City, and will be one of the first multi-unit Manhattan buildings to be using modular construction. The studio apartments range from 260 square feet to 360 square feet.
