The lottery order is set and it’s officially 2023 NHL Mock Draft season as the Chicago Blackhawks won the Connor Bedard sweepstakes on Monday night thanks to the luck of the ping-pong balls.
While more than half of the first round is set, the results of the ongoing Stanley Cup Playoffs — currently in its second round — will decipher the final selections in the coming weeks. So, for the time being, we used the same order used by Tankathon.
On the local scene, the Rangers are locked into the No. 24 pick while the Devils and Islanders do not possess first-round selections this year.
