The New York Jets will officially be without Garrett Wilson as they navigate the end of the 2025 season. The Jets can still enter the holidays on a high note with a road win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon. Undrafted rookie QB Brady Cook will attempt to deliver the holiday gift to Jets fans everywhere, but he will need some help from his friends on the offensive side of the football to secure a victory in Week 16.

New Orleans enters the matchup looking for its first official winning streak of three games or more since the end of the 2022-23 season. Tyler Shough has helped the Saints engineer back-to-back divisional wins against divisional opponents, a four-point win at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14 and a three-point victory at home versus the Carolina Panthers in Week 15.

Week 16: New York Jets (3-11) @ New Orleans Saints (4-10)

Kick Off: 1:00 p.m. ET  (Sun., 12/21/25)

Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, Louisiana)

The Jets enter Week 16 with a 7-7 record against the spread, a 3-11 mark versus the moneyline, and a 9-5 record against the over-under. New Orleans has a losing record against all three betting markers in 2025 – a 6-8 mark versus the spread and the same 4-10 record against the moneyline and over-under with three weeks remaining in the NFL’s regular season.

Best Bet: Brady Cook 175+ Passing Yards

Cook is showing why undrafted rookies are often over matched against NFL defenses with a one touchdown to five interception performance over two games this season. The 24-year-old rookie has eclipsed the 150+ yard plateau in both of his appearances for New York, and he should be able to do that on the road against New Orleans in Week 16.

The Saints own the sixth-best passing defense in the NFL, allowing 180 yards per game to opposing attacks. New Orleans defense has played better recently in back-to-back wins over Tampa Bay and Carolina. The Saints limited Baker Mayfield to 122 passing yards in Week 14 before keeping Bryce Young to 163 passing yards in Week 15. Those were high-intensity, divisional matchups. Can the Saints defense bring the same energy against the Jets on Sunday?

NFL Week 16 Odds: Cook Passing Yards at Saints
Cook 125+ Passing Yards -450
Cook 150+ Passing Yards -210
Cook 175+ Passing Yards +100
Cook 200+ Passing Yards +194

Cook will need help from the running back spot, Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis, in order to lead the Jets to a win on Sunday. With Mason Taylor questionable due to a neck injury, watch for Jeremy Ruckert to celebrate his new two-year contract extension with a touchdown dance for the third consecutive weekend.
