The Mets announced Thursday that they will hold an Alumni Classic Game prior to the 4:10 p.m. ET game on Sept. 13 against the Texas Rangers.
Over 40 alumni will be participating, with a team of Shea Stadium legends set to square off against the best from Citi Field in a three-inning game.
The Shea Stadium team will be co-managed by Willie Randolph and Bobby Valentine, while the Citi Field squad will be co-managed by Terry Collins and Jerry Manuel.

This is the largest collection of team alumni since owner Steve Cohen brought back Old Timers Day during the Mets’ 60th anniversary campaign in 2022, and the latest of a continued effort to reconnect former players with the team they once served.
