Shooting at Queens nightclub with troublesome past leaves three people injured: cops

Bullets flew near a Queens nightclub with a history of violence on Sunday in a shooting that left three people injured, police reported.

According to police sources, cops from the 110th Precinct were alerted to a shooting outside of the Amadeus Nightclub, located at 79-49 Albion Ave. in Elmhurst, just before 4 a.m. on May 18.

Upon arrival, the officers found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest, a 24-year-old man with a bullet wound to the arm, and a 23-year-old woman shot in the ankle.

EMS rushed all three victims to Elmhurst Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition and are expected to survive.

Police sources said they are investigating what led up to the shooting, but could not provide a description of the suspect responsible. 

This is not the first time a shooting has rocked the Amadeus. In January 2023, a similar early-morning shooting outside the club left a 19-year-old boy dead and a 31-year-old woman injured.

No arrests have been made in Sunday’s shooting, police reported. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward in this latest incident.
