An NYPD School Safety Agent was arrested on Monday night after she allegedly attacked her relatives in their shared home in Brooklyn.

Police say that at 7:50 p.m. on Jan. 13, 59-year-old Valerie Jackson was in a dispute with her two relatives, a 33-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl, at their home in the vicinity of 5th Avenue and 9th Street.

While the exact relationship between Jackson and the victims was not provided, the NYPD confirmed that the 9-year-old victim is not Jackson’s daughter.

The dispute escalated, and Jackson allegedly punched the 33-year-old woman and choked the 9-year-old girl, authorities said.

Jackson was taken into custody at 11:47 p.m. Monday night and charged with strangulation, harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17 years old.
