Summer is right around the corner, Fleet Week is in full swing, and people are racing out of the city to spend the weekend at the beach. So naturally, there is no better way to spend Memorial Day weekend than with the best food and drink deals around the city.
Here are the best places to enjoy your red, white and frosé holiday.
The Flying Cock
Who doesn’t love a celebratory holiday brunch? The Flying Cock will have a special red, white and blue pancake stack for $14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. The patriotic pancakes will be topped with whipped cream and fresh berries and, for an extra $21, can be paired with bottomless mimosas, bellinis, or Bloody Mary’s.
The Manhattan rooftop currently known as Rosé Terrace is offering three days of music, fun and bottomless drinks. From 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, guests can enjoy bottomless rosé and a live DJ. The terrace also features a wall covered in pink flowers with the phrase “la vie en rose” — the perfect photo backdrop for a day in the sun. Tickets are $89 per day.
Looking to soak up some sun this weekend? The Wilson’s open patio is waiting with open seats. The restaurant will offer Memorial Day specials, including $1 oysters, surf and turf for $44, lobster rolls for $23 and lobster plates for $29. While you wait for your food and sip on $35 rosé carafes or buckets of beer, you can also enjoy cornhole, ping-pong, pop-a-shot, or giant Jenga. Fig and Olive
With a whole lot of patriotism and a splash of Mediterranean inspiration, Fig and Olive will host a special Memorial Day brunch at all of its locations. The brunch will include French toast with mixed berries, a Provençal breakfast with eggs, hash browns, sausage, pancetta and stuffed Kumato tomato, and a French omelet with goat cheese, Mediterranean fries and mixed greens. Brunch cocktails will also be available.
Anyone who is staying in Manhattan but wants to feel like they are on a beach vacation will be able to do so at The Palm. On Memorial Day, the restaurant will offer a special surf ‘n’ turf for $65. The meal will include 10 ounces of Alaskan King Crab legs with either a 14-ounce New York strip or nine-ounce filet mignon. Restaurant hours will be from noon to 8 p.m.

The margarita will be available at all locations in the Meatpacking District, SoHo, Times Square and Park Avenue.
This restaurant is going all out for the first unofficial week of summer. On top of the usual menu, it will offer special items from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Those specials include The Dutch BBQ Plate with brisket, kalua pig, roasted chicken, watermelon and a parker house roll, cheddar-filled corn dogs, pork ribs, lobster rolls, doughnut trees, Macadamia mai tais and more.
The only thing better than happy hour is happy hour with free hot dogs. Rochelle’s will offer a free hot dog with any drink purchase through Saturday. They are also offering free drinks to all military personnel who are in town for Fleet Week.

Long weekends call for barbecue and beer. Joining in on that fun is Virgil’s, which will host a Memorial Day “Rib Fest” on Monday.
