Rouge Tomate Chelsea: What to drink at the restaurant’s new location

Rouge Tomate is back.

The Michelin-starred, health-focused restaurant closed in 2014 after six years on the Upper East Side to relocate downtown. And on Sept. 28, the new space finally opens.

Rouge Tomate Chelsea (126 W. 18th St., 646-395-3978, rougetomatechelsea.com) promises to be a more informal, approachable iteration in its new home in a landmarked carriage house, with a plant-based menu featuring locally sourced, seasonal ingredients — right down to the cocktail program.

Here’s a look at some of the drinks — both alcoholic and non — that you can try at Rouge Tomate Chelsea, which utilize house-made juices, herbs, bitter and spices.
