New York Giant cornerback Corey Webster, right, has stepped up well this season with injuries to the secondary. He and teammate Ramses Barden also put in time on the practice field Tuesday with enthusiastic students from Manhattan Academy of Technology. The Giants were on hand to help M.A.T. celebrate winning a “Keep Gym in School” award, which comes with a $50,000 new high-tech fitness facility. The Chinatown school was one of only four middle schools in the country to receive the distinction this year. “We’re really excited,” athletic director John De Matteo said. The NFL Network, which sponsors the awards, was particularly impressed by how much De Matteo was able to do in an urban space, he said. “They said, ‘You don’t have a football field?’” De Matteo said. “They said, ‘Where’s your pool?’ I said, ‘Over at the YMCA on 23rd St.’"
