Don’t wait — vaccinate
It’s time for seasonal flu shots, and state Senator Daniel Squadron has been visiting senior centers in his district where seniors are getting vaccinations that he sponsored. Above, he checked in at the Eileen Dugan Senior Center in Carroll Gardens where Judy Farrell from Visiting Nurse Service of New York injected Carol Rembert of Williamsburg. He dropped in at Baruch Houses last Monday, visiting the BEST (Baruch Elder Services Team) Senior Center. He also sponsored flu shots at Vladeck Houses at the Henry Street Settlement program. Squadron, working with Visiting Nurse Service, has sponsored 200-plus free flu shots at senior centers so far this season.
