Evan Arthur Stoliar, an award-winning Web site designer and lighting technician for many off-Broadway events, died in his Jane St. apartment on Sat., July 10 at the age of 41.
He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was found by a neighbor.
A skillful deep-water sailor, he was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He also volunteered as a teacher at the Trout in the Classroom and Project Access programs.
His father, Arthur Stoliar, survives along with his sister, Lee Stoliar Dufresne, his brother-in-law Leonard Dufresne, a niece, Abby, and his former wife, Carol Stoliar. The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. Wed. July 14 at 46 Jane St.
