Police are searching for a mother who apparently kidnapped her own daughter in Staten Island over the weekend.
According to police sources, 26-year-old Randalae Rhodes allegedly abducted 3-year-old Kadence France from outside a home located at 18 Curtis Place in St. George at around noon on Dec. 16. Authorities say Rhodes does not have custodial rights to the child.
Law enforcement sources said the mother apparently whisked France into a blue 2-door Honda Accord with unknown license plates before speeding away from the scene of the kidnapping.
The tot was last seen wearing a pink jacket, black winter cap with pompoms, sparkled black leggings, and black boots.
Police have released images of both the mother and the small child in hopes the public will be able to spot them and bring France home safely. The public is asked to contact authorities immediately if they are located.
