Cops in Midtown are looking for the vandal who smashed up the windows of their precinct stationhouse on Thursday morning.

Police sources said the brazen onslaught occurred at the Midtown South Precinct, located at 375 West 35th St., at about 7:45 a.m. on April 4.

Cops say the unidentified male, while standing in the middle of the street, started hurling rocks, fracturing and smashing the front door windows of the precinct.

The vandal then swiftly fled, leaving the windows fractured with spider-web cracks, and a deluge of broken glass on the ground. No one was reported injured during the incident, and the glass doors were replaced later that afternoon.

Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black coat, a brown hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish speakers, dial 888-57-PISTA).
