As of November 15, Democrat Hillary Clinton, who lost the Electoral College, had a lead of more than 1.15 million votes over President-elect Donald Trump, with more votes still being counted. Given where those ballots are still outstanding, when the tally is complete Clinton is expected to finish with an even wider popular vote edge.
Trump earned less than 10 percent of the votes of Manhattanites, and only 18 percent of the citywide vote.
