Police are searching for the driver of a dollar van that struck two vehicles and a light pole in Brooklyn on Thursday evening and then ran from the scene, police said.

No injuries were reported, but damage to the cars and the van was considered extensive, police from the 63rd Precinct said.

The crash first occurred on Avenue T and Utica Avenue with a silver Subaru at about 4:45 p.m. The driver of the Subaru said she chased the van to Schenectady Avenue and Avenue I, where it struck a Volkswagen before hitting a light pole.

Police say the driver of the van then jumped out of the van and ran from the scene. No description was given of the van driver.

It was unclear at this time who owned the van. The crash is under investigation.
