Group of crooks swipe thousands of dollars worth of sunglasses from Brooklyn optical store: NYPD

Cops are looking for a crew of crooks who stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Brooklyn optical store.

According to police, at 4:17 a.m. on July 25, a group of unknown individuals broke the lock on the rear door of Flatbush Optical, located at 11122 Flatlands Avenue. Once inside, the suspects took $14,820 worth of sunglasses.

The suspects then left out of the rear of the building in an unknown direction.

On July 26, the NYPD released photos and video taken of the suspects from surveillance footage:
