If you own a business in the five boroughs of New York City with 50 or more employees, there are more reasons than ever to enter the third annual amNewYork Metro Top Workplaces program.
You’re eligible to nominate yourself, and your employees can too — if it’s before the deadline on Sept. 30, 2022.
For employers, a Top Workplaces designation allows you to mark strides you’ve made in navigating the post-COVID landscape. Nowadays, a positive workplace culture is a great way to attract new talent and keep your existing workforce — a benefit during a time when so many businesses are starved for quality employees.
For employees, it’s a chance to let your company know it has room to improve.
Last year, 29 companies and organizations in New York City were recognized as Top Workplaces.
Workplaces will be evaluated by their employees using a short 24-question survey, with questions that will address topics such as:
- Has your workplace navigated the challenges of going remote or adapting an office/remote hybrid?
- Are employees feeling valued and more productive?
Energage, our research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 61 markets and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in 2021.
The survey provides detailed feedback that companies can use to improve their organizations, and the insights we collect will prove helpful to all businesses. In 2023 we’ll highlight some of the more innovative ideas.
