Ciara’s suit claims ex-beau Future threatened her fiance, report says

R&B singer Ciara on Tuesday amended her defamation suit against her former fiance, rapper Future, claiming he has threatened her current fiance, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

TMZ.com said Ciara, 30, noted two particular alleged threats from Future, the father of their 2-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn. One is a graphic showing three guns pointed at two footballs, which several reports in May said Future posted on Instagram and then deleted. The other involves lyrics on the song “Juice” from the 16-track mixtape “Project E.T.: Esco Terrestrial” by Future’s DJ Esco. Released June 24 and featuring Future on vocals, it contains lyrics about an unnamed partner of “my baby mama / dog what’s up with you? / You gon’ make me get that heat / I’m pulling up on you.”

According to TMZ, Ciara said in her court filing that she finds Future’s conduct “frightening” and “socially irresponsible . . . where there has been a recent rash of gun violence.”

Future, 32, born Nayvadius Wilburn, tweeted Tuesday, “Wish everyone could move on like me…that’s my only wish.”

He and Grammy Award winner Ciara began dating in early 2013 and became engaged that October. Their son was born the following May, but the couple ended their relationship that August. They soon were locked in a lengthy custody battle, and on Jan. 21 of this year, Ciara filed a $15 million lawsuit against Future claiming defamation, slander and libel.

Earlier that month, Future had posted four since-deleted tweets that contained a derogatory term toward her, said she had “control problems” and claimed, “I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture.”

Ciara and Wilson, 27, became engaged in March after first appearing publicly as a couple at a White House state dinner on April 26, 2015. TMZ.com also reported Tuesday that the couple, who are together in London with friends and family, would marry by this weekend.
