New York City is famed for having some of the most breathtaking and picturesque Christmas experiences, from the historic Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center to the Winter Village in Bryant Park, to one of the most decorated music halls in the country, Radio City Music Hall, home of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. This year, the Spectacular is making a splash of a return for Christmas 2023.

The Radio City Rockettes have been rehearsing some of their most infamous choreography from the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes, Dance of the Frost Fairies, as well as new choreography from the “Christmas Lights” finale. This year, the Rockettes line welcomed 14 new Rockettes from nine states, including Breana Marshall from Uniondale, New York.

Led by director and choreographer Julie Branam, the Christmas Spectacular also includes many different holiday classics, such as “Twelve Days of Christmas”, “New York at Christmas”, and “Here Comes Santa Claus”, that captivate the audiences with their gravitational performances and pull them into this glorious Christmas wonderland. This year, the Dance of the Frost Fairies performance will include more Fairy Drones flying over the audience.

All of the new Rockettes came through Rockettes Conservatory, the dance company’s no-fee, week-long intensive training program that serves as an inclusive talent pipeline for the Rockettes. Working six hours a day, six days a week for six weeks leading into the first night of shows, the Rockettes are excited to once again participate in this glorious spectacular.

Tickets are available now for shows from Nov. 17, 2023, to Jan. 1, 2024, with showtimes ranging throughout the day. For more information, visit rockettes.com.
