It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas at Macy’s this holiday season.

Macy’s six holiday windows, unveiled on Nov. 20, depict key moments in “A Charlie Brown Christmas” to honor the film’s 50th anniversary.

“The iconic Macy’s Christmas windows are the perfect home for Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang this holiday season, as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas,'” Jean Schulz, the wife of Peanuts creator Charles Schulz, said.

According to a media alert, Macy’s was the first department store to feature Christmas windows. The windows take 21 days and nights to install and almost a full year to develop. How long does it take you to plan your decorations?

The windows were created by Roya Sullivan, an award-winning designer and Macy’s national director of window presentation.Scroll down to see pictures of the Macy’s holiday windows.
