Police looking for suspect who allegedly threw brick at 81-year-old man in Brooklyn robbery attempt

The police are looking for a suspect who allegedly threw a brick at an 81-year-old man on a Brooklyn street as part of an attempted robbery.

The suspect, a man, allegedly approached the victim in front of 150 Tompkins Ave. in Bushwick at around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 3 and demanded money. The suspect then threw a brick at the victim striking the 81-year-old in the hip.

The alleged perpetrator failed to get any cash and then fled the scene emptyhanded on foot eastbound on Varnon Avenue

The senior declined medical attention at the scene.

Police have released a photo and video footage of the suspect.
