Detectives are investigating a shooting in Brooklyn that left a 30-year-old man injured on Primary Day.
Police say that at around 1:30 pm. on June 25, the victim was sitting at a red light at Marcus Garvey Blvd and Malcolm X Blvd in the driver seat of an Elantra when he felt pain in his right shoulder. He looked down to find a bullet wound in his shoulder.
Paramedics took the victim to King County Hospital in stable condition.
Officers were able to recover seven shell-casings at the scene. No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing. Officers currently have no leads on suspects.
