A rendering of The Visionaire, the Albanese Organization’s new residential tower under construction in Battery Park City along West St. between Second Place and Third Place. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli, the building broke ground in October and will eventually rise to 33 stories containing 251 condominiums. The tower will have retail on the ground floor and house the new headquarters of the Battery Park City Parks Conservancy. The Visionaire hopes to join Albanese’s other developments in Battery Park City, The Solaire and The Verdesian, in achieving certification from the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building.
