Ferry bender

At roughly 3:15 p.m. Friday, a NY Waterway ferry hit the terminal three times before successfully entering its slip at the dock near the World Financial Center dock. An eye-witness called the newsroom reporting the incident, but declined to give their name. The collision caused no damage to the terminal, but appeared to do some damage to the side of the boat, according to Parks Enforcement Officers May and Estrada who reported to the scene. The collision, they said, was not serious, and there were no injuries. Spokespersons for both the Port Authority and Waterway said they did not have a report on the incident.
