Man dies after being shot outside juice bar in Harlem, police say

A 25-year-old man, who was shot outside a Harlem juice bar in October, died from his injuries on Thursday, police said.

Around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, police responded to a 911 call about a man being shot outside of the Ethiopian Juice Bar at 2041 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. When they arrived, they found 25-year-old Bronx resident Tamel Dixon with a gunshot wound to his torso, police said.

EMS responded to the scene and took Dixon to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, Oct. 31, police said.

 There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
