flashing the Vulcan greeting/farewell sign, right — and Altman, 54, live in California, whose Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriages in May. Moving at warp speed, they were among the first gay couples to obtain a marriage license on the first day of their availability on June 17. They have announced plans to wed in September.
