To the Editor:
I am a SoHo resident and owner of a loft in a coo-op building since 1970, and am writing to express my view, and that of the other shareholders in my building, that we are very disappointed in Margaret Chin’s backing of the SoHo BID proposal.
If passed this proposal would bring even more traffic, noise and disturbance to our neighborhood, and further deteriorate our quality of life. It serves only the business interests of outsiders, and not the community that lives here.
