BY JOHN BAYLES  |  On Saturday, Oct. 15, the demonstrators that have been occupying Zuccotti Park for the last month took their message to the one place that promised maximum attention: Times Square.

The day had been orchestrated as a worldwide call to action. Demonstrations, under the O.W.S. moniker, were held in over 900 cities all over the globe. In Manhattan more than 6,000 supporters marched from Lower Manhattan to Washington Square and, at 5 p.m., descended upon Times Square.
