A public meeting to discuss Bowery/Cooper Square construction projects will be held on Wed. Dec. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at The Cooper Union Engineering Building, 51 Astor Pl., in the Wollman Lounge. The meeting is sponsored by Councilmember Rosie Mendez and Community Boards 2 and 3. Developers will make presentations regarding their construction plans, staging, schedules and traffic plans for: Cooper Union’s Hewitt Building (41 Cooper Square); a proposed 23-story hotel located at 25-33 Cooper Square; a proposed 15- story hotel located at 353 Bowery (at E.
