Stuyvesant High School Senior Yin Li won a $100,000 college scholarship in the Siemens Westinghouse Competition in Math, Science and Technology. The Queens resident took home the prize for his work using yeast to discover how a protein in mice nerve cells may strengthen memory. He came to the United States seven years ago from Shanghai, China. He plans to attend either Harvard or M.I.T.
