Suspect sought for pushing traffic officer to the ground in Brooklyn over a ticket: NYPD

Cops are looking for a man who assaulted a traffic officer just after Thanksgiving in Brooklyn.

According to police, at 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 27 an unknown man illegally parked in from of 5804 5th Avenue. When the 72-year-old male Traffic Enforcement Agent attempted to write the suspect a summons, the suspect pushed the agent to the ground.

The suspect then fled the scene in a gray Nissan Rogue southbound on 5th Avenue. The victim suffered pain and bruising to his back and was taken by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital/Brooklyn in stable condition.
