In photo at left, William Leroy, owner of Billy’s Antiques & Props at E. Houston St. and Elizabeth Sts., right, and Rick Crane, an employee, poked some fun at a serious economic issue — the dollar’s depressed value versus the euro. However, in photo at right, Bob Cho, owner of East Village Liquors at 138 First Ave., isn’t just kidding around. Since Europeans are inundating the city due to the highly favorable exchange rate, Cho really does accept euros. Above, he held up some of the continental currency he had taken in on Friday.
