Police are looking for the male suspect who stabbed a woman to death in an Upper Manhattan apartment on Monday morning.

According to police sources, a cleaner was making the rounds inside of 409 West 129th St., a Morningside Heights apartment building, at around 4:25 a.m. on Nov. 10 when she made the grim discovery on the third floor.

Law enforcement sources said the cleaner came upon the victim, a 47-year-old woman, who had been clinging to life after suffering multiple stab wounds about her body.

Officers from the 26th Precinct responded to the scene along with EMS units, who rushed the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in critical condition. However, cops said, the woman later succumbed to her injuries; police have withheld her identity at this time, pending family notification.

Police say they are looking to question a suspect described as a man who was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
