Police are looking for the assaulted an 82-year-old cab driver on the Lower East Side last week.
According to the investigation, the suspect refused to pay his fare when he arrived at his destination near 40 Canal St. on Nov. 10, causing the two men to get into a heated argument.
As things escalated, the suspect punched the elder cabbie in the face — knocking him unconscious, and sending him to the pavement at around 1 a.m.
The suspect then kicked the victim, before hopping into the back of a different yellow taxi and driving off, cops said.
Paramedics took the injured victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
This year, through Nov. 12, the NYPD recorded 24,361 felony assaults on the streets of the five boroughs — marking a notable increase from the 22,973 assaults recorded during the same time period last year.
