Joe Manganiello, Jessica Pohly, Alia Shawkat and Stephanie Beatriz also star in the story of a mysterious stranger who inspires Pee-wee to take his first vacation. Except for guest appearances on shows including “Top Chef” in 2012 and “Comedy Bang! Bang!” in 2013, Pee-wee hasn’t headlined since HBO’s recording of his 2011 Broadway show.
