Melvis Gimenez, 34, a Midtown resident, has been charged with assault for allegedly slashing a 28-year-old man on the right side of the face during a dispute at around 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 on 11th Avenue near West 51st Street. It isn’t clear what led to the argument.
