Cops are searching for two violent Inwood muggers who beat a man last week for his cellphone and keys.

According to police sources, a 33-year-old man was approached outside of African Market located at 1460 Inwood Avenue by two unknown brutes on March 6 just after midnight. The three individuals had some kind of verbal argument; however, police did not say what sparked the dispute.

The exchange swiftly grew out of control and the two men began pummeling their victim with a flurry of punches and kicks. The pair then stole his cellphone and his keys before hightailing it on foot toward Jerome Avenue. Police said the victim sustained minor injuries.

One of the perpetrators was last seen wearing all black while the other wore white pants and a gray sweatshirt with white lettering.
