Activists marched outside the New York Times’ midtown headquarters on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, in a show of solidarity with media.

The March for a Free Press was held in response to the White House barring some news organizations, including the New York Times, from an off-camera briefing on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017.

Anti-Trump protesters put duct tape over their mouths and held signs demanding that the First Amendment and a free press be protected.
