Thompson to honor six at center

City Comptroller William Thompson, Empire State Pride Agenda and Gay Men’s Health Crisis will co-sponsor the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Celebration on June 15, at the L.G.B.T. Community Center. Thompson will honor six city leaders at the celebration, including Gordon J. Campbell, chief executive officer of Safe Horizon; Carrie Davis, Gender Identity Project coordinator a the L.G.BT. Center; Andrés Duque, Latino L.G.B.T. advocate; Daniel Hendrick, editor of the Queens Chronicle; actor Anthony Rapp; and Walter B. Schubert, Jr., first openly gay member of the New York Stock Exchange and founder of Gay Financial Network.
