A 47-year-old Brooklyn who was found shot in a Brooklyn apartment building earlier this month has died of his injuries, police reported.

Authorities said Jeroid Tindal, 47, was shot multiple times in the face and chest in the doorway to his apartment within the Independence Towers at 85 Taylor St. in Williamsburg at 10 p.m. on March 8.

Officers from the 90th Precinct and NYPD PSA 3 made the discovery while responding to a 911 call about the shooting. Tindal was unconscious and unresponsive by the time they arrived.

EMS units rushed Tindal to Woodhull Hospital, where he died of his injuries on March 14, police reported.

Law enforcement sources said that detectives have yet to establish a possible motive for his killing, or a description of the suspect involved.

Sources familiar with the investigation noted that Tindal had a prior criminal history, including an attempted murder conviction in 1996 for which he was paroled in 2004.

Possible witnesses to the shooting at the location have not been cooperative with investigators, police sources said.

No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation.
