Two people remain at large after an argument in Brooklyn led to a shooting and a stabbing on Sunday afternoon.
At 3:54 p.m. on June 19, a 34-year-old man was involved in a verbal dispute with two unknown individuals outside of Popeye’s, located at 850 Pennsylvania Avenue. The man’s 34-year-old girlfriend went to the car and fired one round at the suspects.
A spokesperson for the NYPD stated that the woman tried to fire off more rounds, but the gun jammed. At this time, the other two suspects stabbed the victim in the leg and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for his injuries and he and his girlfriend were subsequently arrested for their roles in the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
